Session 1
The Art of Belonging: Architecting Spaces Where People Thrive
PRESENTER(S): Kipp Colvin
DESCRIPTION: Creating belonging isn’t a checklist—it’s a lifestyle. In this interactive breakout, Kipp Colvin invites students to become architects of inclusion by learning how to “build the table” rather than simply invite people to it. Through storytelling, reflection, and practical tools, participants will explore how authentic relationships fuel transformational leadership—and how owning your leadership story helps shape a culture where belonging becomes the norm in your organization. Students will leave with clear practices they can use immediately in clubs, teams, residence halls, and campus initiatives to create spaces where others don’t just participate, but truly thrive.
